Guide for Teachers and Parents
This guide is intended to assist teachers and parents to use the Wildfiles.tv interactive
science and wildlife series to enhance children's science learning and extend learning into several areas of the
elementary curriculum.
The Wildfiles.tv online resource and television series were developed to meet the specific learning objectives
of Alberta's 1996 Elementary Science Program of Studies for grades 2-3, however, both can be readily adapted to
the elementary curriculum in other grades and subject areas across Canada, the United States, and internationally.
